If you point a gun at ANYONE, you run the risk of being shot..or cudgelled, whacked, thrashed or even pissed on.
Rule no 1 - if you present a firearm at anyone, you should be, and will be assumed to be, prepared to use it. This also applies to anyone presenting a gun at you....like Police.
If you don't want to reap the results, you shouldn't do it in the first place!

To much fucking film and TV showing dickwads shooting and killing with abandon, without any of the smells, sounds and reality of an actual situation, to make anyone realise what an appalling thing it is to violently kill someone else. Reality is not a TV screen, and many people have to find out the hard way......

Agree. Reality is so ..real. I'm not a gun person myself but I must say that a year ago I was on holiday in US of A and in Vegas I went to a gun range. Not a rifle range -GUNS, all sorts of guns. For a hundred bucks or so I could have fired a rocket launcher!
What I got a buzz from, but also shocked me, was how efficient a hand gun was. I fired a couple of machine guns. All fun but the hand gun held 17 rounds (extended magazine) and was soooo easy to use, easy to hit the target and the speed you could aim and fire off the bullets was an eye opener. The thought went through my head looking at the 'low lifes' around me all firing away that at any instant one of these look-like-a madman-crims could turn on me.

Not being a gun fan I was instantly hooked. Loved the sensation it gave and could feel the power it gives the holder. I wanted so much to bring one home! For medicinal purposes only of course.

Back to my point. I now have a much better appreciation of how easily a dickwad with a gun can cause so much death and mayhem. Unfortunately my new understanding was confirmed days later when an army dickwad walked around a military barracks in USA and killed a dozen or so with 2 handguns.

My view now is that anyone that so much as looks like pointing a gun at anyone should be immediately disposed of. There is NO ROOM for hesitation.
