Those were my exact questions, (also I have added an auction at 3,500 start no reserve, once there is a bid then thats it, but I PM'd you saying I would hold it if you dropped a deposit, If you get back to me about that then I dont mind at all...)
I have had millions of opinions, from people who are bike fanatics, gurus, and general bike junkies and all of them agree there is no way in hell its been around the clock,
the guy I brought it from happend to my my mums ex from back in high school and according to her hes as straight as an arrow, so its possible it was wound back in nip land, but I doubt it, Iv cleaned the carbs etc and they were clean as, there are no signs of high km, the bike was flawless when I got it, and still is, with the exception of the odd 0.25mm chip from stones.

I feel I should address some comments that have been made in this thread. Firstly, the similarities differences between mc19 and mc22. They are vast. The suspension geometry which is very important is great on the 22 and bad on the 19. The 22 has much better braking with the twin front discs as opposed to the single. The two bikes have completely different frames, the riding position is very different. The 22 is a proper raceworthy sportsbike the 19 is not. I have owned mc22's for years and raced them on pukekohe, taupo, manfeild and hampton downs and won my first racing series on one. The 19... well I fixed up one for a mate and dropped it the day after we stuck new fairings on it, doh. They do not handle the same. Acceleration will be similar, but I found that my mc22's could not be beaten by any fourstroke 250, and I always ran them completely stock standard with 91 octane. If you have the extra money get the better bike. In my humble opinion.

Also, the mileage thing. I disagree with my good friend Racefactory. Low mileage high age bikes will give you minor problems that are easily fixed. High mileage bikes could start to get fatal problems like worn cams, worn rings, worn valve seats. But the reason why you only see CBR250's is that they are the ones that have passed the test of time. Believe it or not, there were cbr250 equivalents from all the other 3 big Jap brands. The FZR250, ZXR250, GSXR250, none of them were anywhere near as reliable. ZXR being the best of the rest. The reason you don't see them anymore is that they are mostly all dead from fatal ailments. High mileage for the other three types would be 50,000. For a CBR250RR high mileage would be 70,000, but I've had a smashed up one that I bought for parts that had been round the clock, over 100,000kms and it ran awesome. Sold the engine to a dude who used it for racing and it kicked arse from what he told me. But still, as Racefactory pointed out, if it has not had it's oil changes the engine could have been damaged. You can usually tell by listening to them run and taking them for a test ride. Seriously it's that easy.

Don't settle for less than mc22 unless you are just getting a commuter. Also, tyres are as important as anything else on a bike. You can not go hard on shit tyres without crashing.

VTEC is right, I have ridden the 19 and 22 back to back on the same road, the 22 was a massively fun bike, I'd own one at the drop of a hat. The 19 was a neat litte thing nonetheless, but, brakes and suspension were sub-par compared to the 22. The 22 is also more confidence inspiring, if I recall correct this is geometry and tire size? Doesn't the 22 run a more normal size tire?
Either way both a good bikes, but, you seem to pay a small margin these days for an MC22 over the MC19, but, Drunkenmistakes 19 looks to be a pearler.

For the price I have it at, its a steal, and I have full set of battle axes, spend my money on my tyres.
