Hyosung 250 tyres
Righto we have always scratched our head about what tires to put on the GT250 and GT250R Hyosung, on account of their odd tire sizing 110/70 and 150/70. We took all sorts of conflicting advice and then did nothing because of the uncertainty.
After a measure up, we found that the GT650R rear wheel is about 1cm wider at the rim, and the front wheel looked identical, so we speculated that the GT650R tires would probably fit. So we just went ahead and tried it.
Michelin Pilot Road 120/60 and 160/60 - fits perfectly. Open road test.... well, its a Michy PR2. Think about it.

Dunlop GPRA10 120/60, 160/60 - All good! Farrrrrrrr better than the stinky shinkos!
We've had various other brand tires in the same size on the Hyo 250's, and they are perfectly ok.
Moral of the story? Don't put shit tires on your Hyo 250! Spend a bit more and get a quality set. The slightly larger width and lower profile doesn't seem to do any harm, and IMO the bike does feel better to ride (confirmed by three other riders.)

"read what Steve says. He's right."
"What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
"Wow, Great advise there DB."
WTB: Hyosung bikes or going or not.
