heard all the armchair exberts on the wireless today saying why didnt they shoot him in the leg or shoot the gun out of his hand or surround him and overpower him. Of course if he had shot and killed a cop they would be saying why didnt the cops shoot him

Yes....Because an Army Course covers up holding a gun and using it against Police. Totally equal

Good riddance. Thank God the cops carried a Glock this time instead of pepper sprays and tazers.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

    Its not like on TV...

If he was on any kind of army course that involved firearms he would have been told the consiquences of presenting that firearm in any situation.

I am sure that the officers involved would have feared for their safety before shooting and would have been well justifies when they did so.

Sure we must feel for the family of the teenager but you have to ask what values he had been taught to make him think its OK to point a firearm at ANYONE.

How would anyone feel if someone presented a firearm at them? Of course you would believe your life and the lives of others with you were in imminent danger.

Sadly the only response to a split second situation like that is to use a firearm to stop the threat of death the police were faced with.

Now we sit here and listen to the idiots that say he was a "good boy". What a crock of shit.

those Army courses do not involve any type of firearm training or contact at all.

It is nice to see the person helped out the taxpayer by not surviving.

It is not nice to hear that idiot greg o'connor wanking off, once again, before any form of investigation has even commenced. He really has a career in talkback radio.

Yeah. Good boys don't point firearms at police officers. Dead ones do (well...did).

    Bad move.
