    Also I believe it was 90 onwards they restricted their bikes, and 2007 first NZ owner, sounds like it was wound back in Japan, Get a Dyno run its a sure fire way to pick if its legit, my CBR250 R MC19 (1989) just produced 38.8 HP at the wheel. Thats horses not PS.

    I'm certain the law change in Japan was in 1992 so all bikes after then we're restricted?

    Possible but my 400 is a 91 and its restricted, who knows haha

    Nope def 1994..check specs 1992 mc22s were still 45bhp, 1994 goes to 40bhp along with all the other similar genre bikes
    Of that age.

    They're all restricted to 180, thats different from the 45/40hp restriction.
