Is stealing a young girls Virginity counted as looting ????

If so guilty as charged ya honour!!

Basically these this lot is as dodgy as the day is long ...... but there is a deep sense of right and wrong

Ive had a motorbike stolen here , my changed skimmed in a massage parlour , a bit of biff sometime , all good

but I can pass out in the middle of Shinjuku and My wallet , and money will be in my back pocket and the front door of me house is unlocked

    All good
there has been some theft , but very very very minor ( drinks from a vending machine I heard )
    Stephen

if you want proof of how dodgy they can be ..... Toyota prius , or nuclear fallout reporting ,,,,,

You get good and bad people from every country. Saying that looting doesn't happen in Japan is rather ridiculous. The media has far more important things to do their stories on than a bunch of hoodrats stealing TVs out of an electronic store. A nuclear crisis springs to mind...
Thats not a silly statement your original one was actually a lot worse than silly i was being nice.

I made no comment on whether the Japanese were better or worse that us I just thought your ignorant guarantee was stupid

So are you trying to say that not one single person in Japan has taken advantage of the situation and looted?

    you dont get it
no one can say that as they dont know (unless they have seen it) just as you dont know it happened.

to comment on what you are really trying to say which is there just as bad as us

I think you wrong there too (in this particular situation). Maybe you need to experience other cultures in person to understand.

Toyota , honda , mitsubishi ..they are all at it

But the average Joe , just like in NZ is as honest as I have experienced all over the world , Japanese probably a little more so

I drank myself in to a stupor one ( or twice ) this particular time , I tried to buy a train ticket ,,, fell asleep in front of the ticket machine , money , credit cards , everything all over the place
All back safe and sound the next morning , thats a typical anecdotal story

on saying that , Ive also seen a poor young man being persuaded into a black car , from which Im pretty sure he would be lucky to leave alive

There has been some looting but not a mass riot what ever and Im sure that the Japanese government are keen to show this in a good light

    As you were...

My first thought was that there weren't too many folks left to be doing much looting, poor buggars

Both Japan and Christchurch on the international scheme of things experienced massive natural disasters and bucked trends by NOT suffering a breakdown of law and order.

Smokeu, yet again doing his anti-asian thing. I can tell you this mate, having fell asleep outside Shibuya train station (woken up by a nice copper just in time for the first train ) and just from the way shops store their stuff, you can tell that looting and pilfering are not really an issue in Japan.

You are all wrong and have fallen for a common language related issue. Due to the way the Japanese pronounce certain letters of the alphabet, the thread should actually be called "No sex in Japan."
