    Castration the old-fashioned way...

A friend recently returned from the Faulkland Islands, but had to take a photo of a photo on the wall at his host's house.

This is pretty damn disgusting, so don't open unless you don't mind not being able to unsee what you have seen .

It's how they used to do it in the old days

Haven't actually tried that but have eaten all be they were fried and for that matter we were as well, the testes of young bulls, but we extracted them with a scalpel not bad either same as lambs tails cooked / burnt on a BBQ
Don't judge me based upon your ignorance.

WhenI used to help my Uncle out at docking, that's how he insisted it was done.

I've helped out farmers doing it that way except they are not biting em off, just holding it and slicing with a little hook shaped knife. There is usually a spray of blood (small) over the face which gets quite macabre after the flock is done....

If you are by yourselfor shorthanded its the only practical way (before a crush came along) One hand and knees to hold the sheep and one hand on the knife, mouth to grab the testicles. The day I helped, I'd wrestle the young rams onto the platform (in the shed) and the cocky stood down in the yard at about eye level, fast and almost painless, rams recovered very quickly and no mortalities.

It took me a while to recover mind you....

You can't possibly believe that - unless you believe the Protocols of Zion are real ... but I doubt anyone can be that stupid can they?

    Not like that they don't.
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
It takes a big man to cry...and an even bigger man to laugh at that man.
