I rode the bandit and they were set at 70%...yes, I can see the attraction and if you are riding everyday in all weather then yes. Would I have them, no. I could have really done with them once from memory. I just swallow a couple of MAN pills...

    damn that sounds dodgy

I am not doing so much of it anymore, I do like the fact there a big grip so easier to hold on to.

+ I just got a pair of Goretex gloves so wet hands should be a thing of the past for me now!

As to your man pills and swallowing I ask no questions you tell me nothing.

    Thumbs up

While I think about it, what time you planning on getting to Puhoi? Leaving whangarei around 10'ish should put us somewhere near Warkworth around 12'ish after we take the tiki tour route to avoid the roadworks.

I looooooove heated grips - I find winter weight gloves or thermal liners too bulky, and my hands go numb in the cold.
The bigger grip makes my hand closer to the clutch as well which comes in handy, as there is only so far that the lever can be adjusted - I have my thumb joint fused/pinned and don't have much of a reach anymore.

I have to confess that I use the heated grips for autumn, winter and spring, but I am just a delicate little flower....

Anyways as my new bike won't be ready until Tuesday, I may come along on the 750 tomorrow.

Is this still the meeting point? Or is it the BP on the main highway north?

If we are here or there abouts I will text you but make the school the meeting point.

Won't be there... got work to sort.

On a related note, my heated grips just stopped working a couple of days ago Not a bad innings for over 65,000km though. Have to find out where it's broken and sort at some point.

Cant beleive the stunning day it turned out to be here yesterday.
No rain to be seen until after 5pm and it was only a short burst.
Reading this morning that Auckland/Kerikeri/Kaikohe all got 35mm yesterday?

Anyway, RIDE IS ON so anyone who is keen see you at the Caltex.
