Having to rethink that Grant, will sort it out soon. With Annes broken ankle keeping her off the bike for a couple of months, the rides may become more wide spread...but I have something else on the agenda, we spoke about at the last ride to Shelly Beach...post to come.

    Learner Ride to Cape Reinga

Eleven weeks away but I want to get it out there because it will mean taking a Friday off work
    (for those that work)

Date ..Friday Nov' 18th to Sunday Nov' 20th.
Friday ride to Cable bay = 300kms
Saturday ride to the cape = 260 return (a beer at Houhora, the northern most pub)
Sunday ride home = 300kms to Auckland central. (or 328kms via twin bridges road)

We have Accommodation right on the beach front just north of Mangonui.
Those that want to tent feel free, you will be meters from the sea/waves.
A Hangi is on the menu for one of those nights and a B-B-Q the other.
All put on by the facility managers.
They will even get the beer in while we away riding!....
We will get an all in inclusive cost per person for the Accom.

I might start a new thread for this.

I will start a new thread dedicated to the cape ride tomorrow and add names to the first post.
Depending on numbers, may have to limit it.
