    Wicked ride!

Albeit a little wet, was good fun though, good lunch and company. Look forward to the next one. Thanks Maha
Rest in peace Tony - you will be missed.

I am glad you guys had a great ride - I didn't come as I just wasn't in the right frame of mind - no point riding (especially in a group) when you are tired and distracted and grumpy.
As I have found from past experience, this is when you have "accidents"

What a great ride and great day out!

The wet was not toooooo wet for most of the day and it was well worth getting out. Only real bugger is the bike is filthy once again. What a pity the bike cleaning fairy never visits my house.

Well, the heated grips are fantastic! I have to admit it felt a bit weird to have heat under my hands, but oh so nice. Pity it was so mild today, I actually had to turn them off in Clarksville, I started to steam up my visor I was getting so hot

Got a wet seat, got wet hands and arms. Some of that rain was obviously quite heavy Well done all for a great day out, see you on the next one.

    Thumbs up

Well made it home finally :-)

Was pretty happy with todays ride, did 237.5k's before my gas light came on which for my bike is pretty good (13 litres of gas) Filled up at 260ks and managed to squeeze 13.82litres in. Those PR3's are magic, a lot more confidence in the wet going around the corners definitely feel I can lean the bike over with out worrying about something giving way which in turn made me a lot smoother today hence better gas mileage.

Hopefully this should improve again once i put my Power Commander in.

But aside from all that was a great ride, also survived the coffee and the cat trying to stake its ownership of me!

Look forward to the next one and anyone up this way is more than welcome to stop in for a coffee or a place to crash any time!

I like that idea... ... We could go up through Dargaville.... and then on to Whangarei ..... maybe back through Mangawhai...

It would be a long day, but would be an awesome ride....
