Yeah, the bike cleaning fairy must be scared of Suzukis, Yamahas, and Hondas as she has never visited my house. I have never had a Kawasaki (that was in 1 piece anyway) so maybe she only does Kawasakis?

That is a good ride...I used to do it as a sort of regular ride called the Brynderwyn Bypass. Haven't done it for a while now.
Duckster has a point so I would open it up to who ever wants to do it.
Would do SH1 to Paps though (quickest route for leaners)

Paparoa/Oakleigh is 40 kms of yum yum if the weather has been legal.
But yeah, I could some calculations ...K's/Time.

Water water everywhere nor any drop to drink

Good ride today chaps and chapesses. Moms tip about the Pledge on my visor was a good one. The water streamed off during the heavier down pours.

Now I wonder how it would work on Cordura? My jacket is drying in front of the fire, I need it dry for tomorrows commute.

Woodcocks is quite a technical ride on a good day without the added difficulty of a wet road. Foghorn did really well to get through that. I'm impressed.

I laughed when Maha complimented you on the weather tightness of your jacket at Puhoi

I think throwing it down is a better description of that rain My brand new pants let the dampness in Very disappointing

I think investing in a good root is the go personally. I have a full body root, but am thinking a 2 piece one may well be the shizz!

Foghorn did well on a couple of occasions

Tis the rolling rrrrrrrrrrrrr's I hear

That and the fact the insides of your gloves were dry and warm My very expensive H2O gloves were saturated! Even heated grips can not make up for soaking wet leather gloves, and the struggle it is to get them on your hands.
