Was a good day, train tracks?..what train tracks....
I had a moment in some loose metal at one stage but the Honda knows not to piss me off so all is good.
Real nice suprise at the lunch stop...MadDuck/Speedygirl and Grahameboy were there.

I had fun! Great day out, wonderful company as usual, great to meet new faces too!

Millie enjoyed playing at the back of the pack, at times she got quite exhurberant to be fair As far as not seeing things goes, it is all about taking a wide angle view of what is ahead of you instead of worrying about what is under your noce so to speak.

Fantastic effort by those really new riders, you all did extremely well indeedy. Looking forward to the next one.

On each of the rides there have been riders turn up that have not been riding very long at all...be it four months or a week or, on our 2nd ride....''I got the bike last weekend and rode it home''...eh Brendon?...
Bike sizes and types....we've had them all.
The whole experience so far has been real positive and long may it continue.

Shut up! So I am directionally challenged To be honest I thought we were at the top of the North Western Motorway I am not familiar with that part of the world.

I looked in awe and wonder at the little red car on that roundabout that was tootling melodiously on her hooter of doom while she very nearly turned me into tarmac Since when is it ok to change lanes mid roundabout? Her not me, and she had the fucken hide to tootle meeeeeeeeeee

Talk about detours, you guys get the prize for attendance today. Whangarei is a bit of a pootle to the start point. No idea what time you turned out of the scratcher to get here, I was barely out of the shower when you arrived here!

i think this was my best riding experience since i got the little transformer.
    so many firsts today
    first time over the bridge
    first time on the motorway
first time on the open road

then the things i did not see, oooops
    then the detour because .....ooooops
and the train tracks....well I did not see myself, so all good.

again thanks to Mom and Maha for organizing these rides, thanks to all others for beautiful company, words of encouragement and tips on how to do things better,

    What a great day
