All Learners, I wanted to let you all that that at the moment it is very important that you keep to the 70Km speed limit whilst displaying an L plate, I got pulled over on Friday for doing 90 on the motorway just cruising with the traffic. and I was told the Law is the Law so.... $100 and 35 demerit points later.....
Just keep the law in mind. and I can now say (if you get one....) I told you soo.....![]()
That is a bugger...bit of a loan sheep though and easy picking on the m/way.
Keeping the limit to 80 and using roads not frequented by the HP so much..they wont be bothered.
Bearing in mind that, when, and if we ever see a cop on the learner rides, the speed is normally under what they would consider...excessive.
But yes, watch you speed on the m/way when displaying the L...
We are 'The L's Angels' after all....![]()
Sucks to hear about the ticket that really blows![]()
Absolutely mint weather today, can't believe how like summer it is feeling at the moment, just need a bit of heat in the sun and we will be away laughing!
sorry to here about you trouble foghorn,
had a bit of a moment on wednesday on my way to westgate to sit my restricted (that was not! LTSA fucked up badly with my appointment, now had to reschedule!)while going the speedlimit
for a moment I thought the cop was going to stop me, but oh well I got away with it!
squeek squeek
Sucks to hear about your situation Foghorn. I would have thought the copper would understand, it's not like you were doing 150 on the motorway....

Be checking the weather first thing tomorrow, looks rogeee at this stage though.
Wouldn't mind hearing ideas and thoughts on the pending Cape ride, always easier talking rather than typing.
Cloudy rainy and some wind according to metservice. Should make it interesting
