Got room for a passenger (who will bring along some cupcakes!!) Ankle is still playing up so have to limit myself to the 250 for a couple of weeks!

You are on, or in. Should I bring a trailer, what do folk think?

Ok, so forecast is saying showers. I'm taking MinxiMe out for a drive so depending on whether you guys are planning on riding depends on whether I meet you at the carpark. So what are you planning?

Righto, just making sure we're all on the same page, the Lees Valley ride is being planned for NEXT weekend, not THIS weekend i.e. tomorrow.
As for the trailer flip, that's totally up to you. If you were cool with bringing it I'd love to put my bike in it for the drive out and back if that'd be ok ...
If it'll spoil your drive having it attached, then no worries and I'll just have to harden the fk up.

    Ride out

Thanks for the Hello Kiwiphoenix. Originally from the UK. I've shipped out a ZX636 AND CBR600 03 (CatD) track bike.

Presumably meeting at 11am at Burger King on Moorhouse. Not sure on where your going and may be out with the family on push bikes later so depends on the weather and ride I suppose.

Any more info would be helpful. Either way looking forward to catching up.

    Pete

G'day Pete, welcome to NZ! You've gotta love your bikes to ship them all the way out here ...

I won't be joining people tomorrow if a ride happens, have a lunch appointment with some old friends I haven't seen in a while.

If you do go, have a great ride. Some of the roads are really cut up again so watch out, tho the good side is the boy racers will be mainly stuck at home again!

    Ciao,

    Pete (the original!)

    Ride Out

Thanks for the Advice Pete(the original)! Enjoy your lunch out. I may just pop out for an hour or two as there doesn't seem to be much interest and the weathers not that great...

    Thanks again

I knew that! although I suspect the real reason you want to jump in the jeep may have something to do with cupcakes!

Pete88, cool! We'll see you out there soon!

Weather is looking very .... foggy! I'm still planning a drive, going to head out to Oxford, if anyone is interested, there is room in the car if anyone wanna come! If I don't see anything I'll assume you're all out for today and see you next weekend!

    Ride Report

    Home - Sunny
BK - Foggy but total of 3 sports bikes so what the hey
Dyers - Sunny and lots o dry patchs.
Wheatsheaft - cloudy but ever the optimist hoping over the pass would be clear to Little River.

    FAIL

Gebbes - pea soup. Change the plan to Tai Tapu pub for chips, drinks and lies.

Better the no ride at all.

Weather was shit in Chch, we ended up in Kaikoura for fish and chips. Weather was lovely up there, clouds hanging about the mountains though. Came home and it was a drizzly rain!

Stylo & me rode to Lil river about lunch time. Misty but no wind or rain. Saw about 20 others but didn't spot any of our diehard crew... Came back over Gebbies, Dyers - no one at Wheatsheaf...
