    Talking Ride Out

Three off us made it to the BK. Craig, Olly and Myself. Good ride over to Dyers and into Governors bay but misty and foggy there after. Had a beer and chips in Tai-Tapo. Great to get out but a bit rusty, just found out my bikes haven't cleared customs yet! Working next weekend so won't be out but have a good trip.

Lees Valley/Okuku pass shingle/dirt/mud/river crossings ride... this Sunday.
Peeteey and flip are hooking up around 11am with the 4 wheel drive.
Then hooking up with Gareth123 at his place.
I trust you'll be able to tee up your hook up with Flip.
Then the final gathering point will be departing the Mobil station, 19 Ashley Street, Rangiora at midday.
I continued that topic here where i now see interest by several other adv bike owners.

This should not stop the sealed road riders doing the usual from BK at 11 or what ever they usually do.

Forecast looks unexpectedly good tomorrow - p'haps we could get that lil River, hilltop carve ride done.

Doubtless wife will be on her horse tomorrow so no worries getting a leave pass

Its like this. I'm going for a ride unless I wake up and its raining, in which case I'll do housework.
I'll swing by BK around 10-55am and wait for a bit. Some company would be good but I'm riding anyhoo

I'm never much on Akoroa itself but I do like playing up and down the hill interspersed with coffee and muffins.

We had a great ride out to Lees Valley today! 7 bikes and one sexy beast of a landrover. Beaut day for it with spectacular views along the way. Pics and video to come.

Speaking of video, could i get a copy of everyones video so i can make a Youtube clip with all our combined footage? Would be great! Am more than happy to come and collect ...
