Run most Sundays, meet at BK, Moorhouse Ave @ 11am, depending on the weather, a few turn up!

Ok, that would be cool except I don't get home 'till about 8.
I'd be a bit iffy about leaving a hdd outside for you to take but I could leave my card reader and a couple of cards in a gumboot for you to copy yours onto, then drop them off next time you go past, or I could swing round one evening if you're not going past in the next week.
    How's that sound?
Thanks again for the trailering yesterday, really appreciate it! Ride was great fun and I'm not even sore

You are most welcome. I just left the camera with your Boss, I will pick it up on Saturday. Me and anything electronic just don't work well together, I can fix an ignition problem on a v8 motor on the side of the road but I have a really big mental block when it comes to modern electronics.

Did you get wet when we went through that first big puddle?

I heard a rumour today that indicates Evans pass road my not be reopened due to the over hanging rock and future risks, ok sure this is just a rumour at this stage but the have place a large gate and fencing on the Lyttelton side with a fairly permanent post mounted in the centre of the road.

Looks like we may have lost this piece of road for the foreseeable future.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

Yep, unfortunately I've heard the same thing from the family of one of the senior workers up there. It's just too unstable now, so they say.
No more Evans Pass ... Sniff ...

I wonder about the Summit road?

We'll learn to live without evan's pass, truth be , it's needed serious money spent for years, but as it's only classed as a secondary route , would never get it, be even further down the scale now.
Always been a pain in the arse for road transport/oversized loads from port.

We dragged a 100 tonne LPG storage tank over that road a couple of years ago. I can't think how you could do it otherwise as we would not be able to swing them around the stop sign corner at governess bay. Cut them in half next time I guess.

And the delays in the tunnel which were sometimes bad enough will continue to get worse.
