    R1 power

    I know one of you's got the answer to this one how much power does a stock '03 R1 have at the back wheel?

    Enough until you get use to it then its not enough

    supposedly 154hp at the crank - drop 8-10% for drive train loss and you will be near enough

    Well I know a stock 04 makes 150- I have a comparo chart aginst my FZR. R1Aarons 02 made something like 145 stock. Give Performance Bike Services a ring- he's got every run ever done on his dyno saved on his PC and can email you the chart.

    Well a stock 02 R1 136.3 HP & 68.7 FTlb / 04 R1 158.9HP & 74.4 Ftlb
    Don't think Aaron's is a 02 thought it was a 99/ 00 ? if so would be
    128.2 HP & 72.2 Ftlb

    Doubt it, they'll either need another r1 engine or something from a honda to haul their fat arses round.
