A day to forget. How i did..

Well not much to say.
Qualified Pole, had cracker starts (both races), didnt finish one lap in either race!!!

Not a good feeling having to pull out of a race while LEADING IT FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!!!!

The chain adjuster twisted in the swingarm, and chain came off, Im soo lucky it didnt jam up.
Second race was not any better.
I have a toggle kill swith on the bike, it seems to have worn a bit and keeped killing the bike.
Words explain how im feeling right now.
I was 2nd in the series and was looking good, but now..

I guess thats racing.
Ill move on from here.

Having the chain come off in the race due to the adjuster must have been preventable. Had it been adjusted between then and practice?

All your supporters had different ideas on what was going on in the second race. Kinked fuel hose, water in electrics. You'd think the saftey toggle would be pretty much bulletproof. Must be all the vibration that big twin produces.

I keep meaning to take the toggle kill switch off my bike, and only put it back on for the street races where its required. I think your story might have just given me the kick to go and do it.

Bugger about the chain - but like you said, it's lucky that it didn't do more damage. fortunately cheap jap bike don't have these flash concentic adjusters to hopefully I won't ever have that problem.

Its a pretty cheap switch, and I did replace the trye earlier in the day, but when i came in to fix the chain, all the screws were tight as!
So i guess its just one of those things aye?

It's bloody annoying when shit like that happens. HEAPS of preparation minimises the likelihood but even then stuff still goes wrong. Better luck next time.

Surprising you got to the front considering how slow you are

If it's the type with the red stretchy cord to the red thingy that goes onto the black bit on the handle bars they're absolute crap, I've had three fail so far and one was even on a Ducati, most people I know won't use them because they fial so often
