Sympathies Toaster but life is funny like that, sometimes an apparent bad deal can turn out trumps in the end!

I never knew what I wanted to be when I grew up but on reaching retirement I realised that I had at last found my niche, "retirement"!

I was just getting really good at it too.

Now it doesn't look as if there is going to be anyone left in the country to provide the tax for my pension!

Life is a bitch if you let it be a bitch, I hope I die before I get too cold and hungry though!

Then again I could just do a convenient wee murder and get free lodgings in that nice new warm and cosy prison for the rest of my life!

That should do it for me but hey, you have got family to think of, good luck with all that!

If there is anything we can do, let us know.

If there is someting we CAN do, let us help you. Mean while, I wish you and your family the best and hope that this "tough time" becomes history real quick.

    Hang tough Toaster.
Me n Kanny had to swallow a bit of financial shit just lately.
Funny thing is, we refocused, set some new goals, and are quietly looking forward to the next stage.
Stay strong within your families love and support, and you'll easily tip toe through any mine field.

Had a moment like this a few years ago.
Just brought a new lifestyle block that we had dreamed of for many years. Business was doing just ok and no more, then i had a truck roll over. Thought we would be lucky to come out with the shirt on my back.
Dug my heels in and put the head down and arse up.
3 or 4 years later i'm doing great again.
    Works out in the end!
    Trumpydom!

These are indeed tough times my friend. Look - you are not alone in going through some bumps at the moment, I know a few on this board doing it REALLY hard at the moment but chin up mate. Sometimes all you can do is just keep putting one foot in front of the other and plod onwards so thats exactly what we do.

Let me know if we can help in any way but seriously, you will get through it, believe it...

what has that got to do with anything.
I guess it's because you have no other ability than to sell ice cream and pretend you are a lawyer and it makes you jealous of someone that has a real career or wants to better themselves.
Go back to the world under the rock, it was a much better place without you.

Keep on hanging in there Toaster.

Just goes to show just how much you really do not know aye , clown !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Move to Christchurch! The west side of the city is minta, and we need top performing business managers to replace some of the pussies that left. Plus you seem like an all right cunt, and we could always do with more of those

It's a pretty rough thing to be going through ... especially as it's come out of the blue as such ..

I've walked away from a couple of jobs - with nothing to go to ... that's scarey enough walking away like that - without having it dumped on you like this.

I've found things have always worked out - I've always got better jobs after walking away ... the last time I did it as the end of 2009 - so a recent expereince.

Keep mind and body together ... things do tend to work out ...
