Didn't say to leave him be. Just recommended to pace the visits a wee bit.

You're not kidding Mikey. I popped in to see Dave today and he had some very tidy young things looking after him. Pity all he was getting out of them was poking and prodding, and the occasional needle.

Good to see that despite being sore as hell he's still got his sense of humour, although I guess trying to make him laugh was not exactly a good idea.

Anyway, although he's pretty banged up it was nice to visit and talk to his folks. Having met them now I can see why Dave turned out the way he has.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Either that or he's just being pessimistic about his arm.

You see, if he's on a Harley he won't have to wave at all of us anymore.

Hmmmm. I dunno. I vaguely remember quiet mummurings about cruiser like machines in pre-accident times aswell. I tried to ignore it back then but it sounds really serious now.

    Thumbs up

Sels1 and I popped in and saw Dave after the ride today. He's good but was really tired. His Mum and Dad are looking more relaxed and feeling better about his condition. He may be out of ICU tomorrow!

    All good news!

Oh yeah - BIG UPS to Skunk & Skunk Control who arrived just after Sels1 and I. They had a big basket of goodies for Andre and Sheila. Good job you two!

Cool!! If anyone is visiting can you please let him know that I'm thinking about him heaps. I hate not being able to go and visit him to see for myself how he's doing.

Popped in at lunchtime today. His Mum was there. He doesn't look ready to do any marathons or rockwall climbing but alive and that's what we all wished for. He's getting bored with 8 days of seeing nothing but white ceiling tiles. Can't see him watching tv for awhile unless we supa glue one to the ceiling. I didn't stay long he was sleepy- rude bugger, that's no way to treat visitors
edit- he's back on level E ward for people with awful-pee-dicks (serves em right for not wearing condoms)
