And Riccarton to Church Corner is going off because it's close to a lot of suburbs. It's like any new bar, there will be a brief flurry of excitement and for the first few weeks she'll have queues for africa, then people will lose interest in paying big bucks. Or she'll get people preloading even more than normal because she has taken $22.00 out of their drinking budget before they even get to the bar, and that's 3 beers.
Don't blame me, I voted Green.
well said, and 100% correct, i had a good conversation with a bouncer last week actually about the same thing, he was basically saying the same thing, that they were not just security but the first point of meeting for all customers, and they needed to think like that as well,
also he said that very drunk woman were as bad as very drunk men,
Sounds like marketing bullshit to me to get their place noticed, it might work for them, or it might backfire horribly.
If they stick with their cover charge, a better business idea would be to have a bar with no cover charge next door for the blokes, so they spend the money on beer and still pick up the drunken dregs as they attempt to stagger their way home.

Ah it's not that bad, I've heard there are clubs where the men still get ripped off but the women are paid to be there![]()
Every club in Malaysia i tried to get into was $20. Free for women.
How about same charge for both, but a sliding scale of discounts depending on how good looking they are & slutily they are dressed?
but yeah door charges only work for a decent band on.
As a side issue, now I'm a family man I don't go out to bars in town so much any more but I really got over having to be nice to bouncers to get into places & them looking on you like they're better than you. Now to clarify; I'm well dressed & no trouble starter, but sometimes you're at their mercy & quite frankly I know why they're there, but it turned me off going to bars with bouncers.
I was out with a mate & yes he did doze off in his seat at about 3 O'clock. Should he have been thrown out? Yes. Should have have physically been 'thrown' out so he hit the ground & got hurt having offered no physical or verbal resistance what-so ever? That is your customers you are actually criminally assaulting. Just some puffdaddy taking his frustrations out on some one smaller. Bullying.
Nah I'm over all that. I'll spend my money where I get good service & the proprietor treats me with some respect. Guess that feeds back into the original premise of this thread. Hey, after that Adjunct I'm back on topic!!![]()
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
I reckon with all them pissed women about even a fat, sweaty bastard with a huge cock (to his credit) will get a root in there.
Do they take bookings?
You want pussy? Then go visit a cattery....![]()
