They're station wagons... it's not a choice between a hot young latino and an old worn out one, it's a choice between the shit from an alsatian, and the shit from a rotty. Who cares, it's still a piece of shit... might as well get the cheaper one.

Yup if it aint about speed, and its about beauty - why a s/w?

So that your dogs can watch out the back window when you burn off a boy racer?
If its about beauty, then go beautiful - like M3 or Alfa Brera... or 1965 SWB Landy!

Haha, nah, I just love the fact that you ( I can't afford it!) could be driving something that is mechanical genius. You could send gran down to the shops in it for her powerball ticket, or you could take it to the track and smoke just about anything that rocks up rain or shine, then cart a few bags of cement for the reno's and park it at the pub and most folks wouldn't look twice at it. No drain pipe exhaust, no wincing at every speed bump, just pure function over form. The utimate Q-ship that will keep up with most exotica but fit the whole family in luxurious comfort.
The sound of that sweet V8 pulling 8krpm is almost worth the price of admission all by itself. Give it 5 years to get into my price range and I'll be all over it.

I think you and I are on the same wave length. Want to be friends?

But seriously, big draw factor for me over say the BMW M3 is the LACK of bling. The M3 (V8 version) is undoubtedly a faster, better handling machine, but it looks like it wants everyone to know that it is. The Audi is a bit more understated.

But hey, courses for horses, not everyone is gonna love them and this is ultimately a bike site so tastes will be altered with that in mind.

Interestingly, the Avant (s/w) fetches a $15-$20k premium over a sedan...
