    Our solar system was hijacked

    Its known that the Milky Way and Andromeda galaxy are on a collision course but that's still in the future. But right now astronomers have discovered that the Milky Way is devouring a much smaller galaxy, - Sagittarius Dwarf, and we are in the middle of it.

    In fact the evidence is our solar system belongs to Sagittarius and not the Milky Way. This finally explains the odd angle the Milky Way runs across our sky.
