    ah hahaha...thats priceless! I seem to remember Graeme Crosby telling me of a similar story of his 'come back' ride at Manfield exiting the pits....similar result.

    Oh and remember Shaun...there are only wankers and liers....and as for me, I'm not known for my fibbing!

    Yeah Wharfy,it was his very first win and he was so excited. After seeing he wasn't hurt it was very funny.
    As Spyda said, might've been Ken Clark ? Had a bike shop in Wanganui some time later.

    yep that's him, now a mechanic in Matamata.
    Also ran an F1 bike, Olio. trident frame with a Z1 kwacka donkey in it
