Rangi and I will be there (don't all cheer at once, not sure if my sunblock will be needed, hehe).
Slicks are fine in the wet, just avoid the big puddles..... and the white lines and heavy breaking and..... nah, they're fine

Bleh, I can't race until Easter Weekend so I don't care!

ex 125 slicks in whatever sizes you get, rear is sometimes 115 sometimes 120.
FZR rims will give a nicer profile but you can jam them on an FXR rim.

I've got the spadas stock wheels, with a 140/70-17 Pirelli sport demon rear, with the matching front. The rear tire looks massive.

I agree with Hamish this time. The weather has packed up every time the 17th of April has fallen on a weekend as far as I can remember.
Yes 4 strokes are for homos. Homo-sapiens that is, who have realized bigger is better.

I'd just be happy with having a set of second hand tyres with a spare set of rims. My rims are really too small to fit racing tyres (without spending a fortune) and they work just fine.

Can anyone tell me some approximate max speeds at Kaitoke ?

    I figured maybe 70kph ?

I need to order some sprockets and would rather be in the ball park, than never get out of second gear..

I'm not sure as I'm still working it out but I'd gear higher than that.
Unfortunately I'm not sure what I'm revving to at the moment but my current gearing should see 91.4 Kph at the top of top at 10,000rpm and I'm topping that gearing out.
I think it must be revving to less than that but 70 is prob still a bit low and its better to be geared to high rather than too low. (I reckon anyway)
