    Karma's a bitch

If I'm generalising all cops into a group...

    From Stuff:
"Two police officers are in Masterton Hospital with minor injuries after their vehicle crashed into a power pole this afternoon.
The officers were travelling in a convoy of police vehicles heading to Wairarapa for an armed offenders squad training exercise when they crashed into the power pole north of Greytown about 3.30pm, police said.
The police serious crash unit was investigating and the officers were expected to be released from hospital tonight.
A third officer in the vehicle was not injured."

Is it bad that this makes me smile for some reason.

    Wonder if they were "speeding".

I'm hardly a "professional" driver so when I crash it wouldn't be that interesting news.

Fark knows, it'd be ironic if speed was a factor I guess, but I'm not seeing how karma applies? Unless the OP is going to get some comeuppance for laughing at their accident?

Perhaps they lost control of the car after being startled noticing that there was a fellow sniper in the bushes with a radar gun

Dropping speed that quickly can be hazzardous

Nooo... I was referring to the crashes that police have... Oh... that isn't karma. Well that's fail

    He sure will.

I don't see how it's karma at all.
Speed is usually a factor, I have found it immensely hard to crash whilst not moving in a car.
They are trained, not professional really are they? A race driver who does so for a living is.
    Everybody makes mistakes.

You show more restraint then i on this occasion. Good reply knowing your circumstances.

Think that would be appropriate. Don't see any reason to wish injury on anyone really.

A professional driver is one that drives for their profession, so yes police included but unlike courier drivers the police have had professional training beyond standard/public license requirements or even defensive driving course level.

As they were traveling in a convey how come they had the accident? I await the news with baited breath. Yeah right you will turn blue in the face before that comes out unless it was someone else's fault that is.

The only thing we can say for certain is speed was a factor, their vehicle was moving otherwise it couldn't have crashed so therefore it had speed. Well unless the power pole jumped out at them whilst they were parked.

Karma is possibly not the correct phrase but when those who have the responsibility for enforcing safety on the basis of questionable laws derived from even more questionable statistics come unstuck it is hard not to react as if there is some poetic justice involved even if the reaction in itself is unfair. Be even better if it was the lawmakers but they have chauffeurs to blame.

Pity there was injury but does sound to bad so hopefully they will be back shooting their bushmasters soon.

Rejoicing over someone else's injury should get a nice dose of it too.

Dont fuck with karma, glorify yourself after a fact. Revelling in the suffering of others is not popular with the powers that be.

Thank you lord for whacking my enemies? No

Any unfair comments and you get it next.
