Just some food for thought, Does anyone know how large the quantity is of material downloaded was/is available free somewhere at some stage? i.e. downloading a tv episode that was on free to air tv in another country because the tv stations of the given country are crap. Also noting that older generations will smash down the current generation for downloading without giving thought to the realisation that it is essentially the same as recording a show on VCR to watch it at a different time other than what it is shown at.
Also if a service such as hulu, which seems to deliver content on time and gives the user the option to watch it whenever they like, was available how much piracy do you there would be here?
yes I was wondering that, I regulary send large file , and I assume places like Weta ( to use an example send HUUUUGE files )
So how would they know who is downloading what ???
here in Japan they have a fair usage policy , if you exceed the bandwith u get the letter , my friend got one , but then he downloads 2 or 3 movies ( or more ) a night
