    This is from S/C's Parents

I have read this afternoon 209 posts brought in to the hospital by Mickey.
I am absolutely astounded by the massive support my son has received and am believing is receiving.
Both Sheila and I would like to take this opportunity provided by VTWIN to thank you all for the support in a time like this. This is greatly appreciated and ammazing.
Please feel free to visit WEL ICU G floor fot a visit. Hours not to visit is 7-1030 AM and 7-8 PM.
    Once again THANKS and cheers.
    Andre

    Cool

vtwin - This is just an idea that has come to mind.

Is it possible to show Stonechucker's parents Andre and Sheila on a computer (maybe using SC's) this website and maybe set up a login ID for them, so that they could come in themselves to also add in their own updates on how their son is doing. This may also help them as well with the coping of the accident and also getting to know about this nice community of bikers who are there for each other.

    Cheers.

That's a great idea....I'll talk to them about it tomorrow.
BTW...SC's Dad Andre came over and wote the post on my log in to show how grateful they are with all the support you are showing for them.
He has great respect for KB and is proud that Dave has so many good people are looking out for him.

I would also like to thank the ambulance crew and police for going about there job in a calm and professional manner in what I would call total chaos.
Without their skill and training it could have been a hole lot worse cause in this case and as in most accidents time was crucial.

Yep thats so true.... A HUGE thanks should go to the emergancy crew that came to Stonechucker's aid at the crash sight and helped him at the scene and on the way to hospital. Plus also all the hospital staff in A&E and ICU.

We must take our hats off to those fellas ,,Do a fine good job ,,,,

That surely must have been a sigh that all is going to be well in the end ... Ihe man upstairs hasnt got to your name in the big book yet Dave !!!

So in the mean time watch out for the mornings...and leave the nurses alone!!

    Good luck

Glad that Stoney's parents know we're here for them all.

Got to say it's the one area that also concerns me when one of our own comes to harm, is the thought that their family could have some ill feeling towards us.

Thankfully it hasn't seemed to happen yet, and hopefully shouldn't. I know I that this site and community is an integral part of my biker education (yes even more so while I'm bikeless).

Stay strong Andre and Sheila, you've got a one-of-a-kind in your son, and I know he can successfully face any challenges that come his way.

Ambo's are the almost unheralded gems of the Emergency services. They really DO clean up the mess. Hope I never have to meet them professionally (fingers and toes crossed)

Too bloody right mate. The guy who looked after me in the back of the ambulance after my off was an absolutely top bloke. Helped me dial my mobile so that I could let my sons know what was going on and leave details for my wife.

Made sure I gave a donation to the Ambulance service last week.

Back to the real topic, is there any update on SC??
