    Pop Up advertisements

When I post a comment on this site it appears with an advertisement flashing underneath it - is this some sort of permission that I have inadvertently given? How do I get rid of it?

You get paid $2.99 each time for that.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

There are no pop-up flashing ads on KB. You PC is probably infected with adware.

People who use Internet Explorer on their personal computers intrigue me. The only useful purpose IE serves is to download Firefox or Chrome. Then delete it. I can't remember the last time I saw an advertisement on the Internet.

Easier said than done... IE doesn't leave when you ask nicely... or forcefully.

That doesn't surprise me, old people generally are a bit slow on the uptake when it comes to tech.

i use IE and have quero ad blocker. works a treat! only annoying bit is having to turn it off to see embedded youtube videos and other things similar.

Just imagine how much easier and simpler your life would be with either Firefox or Chrome running Adblock Plus.

Yeah, I don't understand the loyalty to Chrome, it just annoys me. FireFox 4 is the shiz.
