    Norjo Kawasaki Christchurch

    Hey,
Just went and got a new battery put in my ZXR because it was having trouble starting in the cold weather. It cost me $95 for battery and installation. I thought that was really expensive?
I got it done at Norjo Kawasaki in Sockburn. Was wondering if anyone else has been there and has a opinion of the place? Also was the price about right?
I thought the quality of work there was good but don't know how it compares to other places?
    Cheers,

    Matt

P.S. What tyre pressure should I be running in the tyres of a 1989 ZXR 250A?

First off, what brand battery did you purchase as there are a few options and the prices differ.

Sounds about right to me though

Just so you know, your local dealer should have been able to at least match that...pity/slack? they didn't offer the option

that would be a fair price for a good quality chinese battery, there would be cheaper options but i would not go there,

a yuasa japanese option would have been much more expensive, but most dealers would be able to give you an option,

It's a little battery, and ZXR250s sometimes need a little cranking if they're getting on a bit (they all are now), so keep a good eye on it, keep it charged, ride the often etc etc. Otherwise they seem to die prematurely.

    Thumbs up to the MOTOBATT.

The price you paid sounds OK (depending on the battery of course).

Did you get free install? It is hardly time consuming!

    +1 for Mottobatt

They don't fill up with electrolytic fluid, and are robust.

    And they come fully charged.

    Around $80
