Stepping up from a RG150E, this Goose did it for me. My mates VTR1000 was fun, but a bit big for my purpose.

I'm mainly a commuter with the odd weekend trip doing about 450kms. Really Tourqey engine and a nice rumble for the size, think it runs a DR motor.

Go the Black one, yellow does not look right to me, blue hmmm prob not. Got the 2002 model, RRP $5000, but give a talk as most people step up to at least a 400 if not a 600cc bike, and you can haggle down.

Looking at trimming the tail a bit it possible, bit too much hang. Only bad thing I have found is the front fork are a little spongie for my weight, stoppies are easy, and if you ease then gun it in fourth you can pop the front, not to good doing 120kmph+ though.

Same as the first post apart from the reflector, license plate number, and position of WOF tag. And I no longer have the oil drip.

Will try and get a photo, otherwise it didn't happen.

I have never understood why they didn't chuck the DRZ400 motor in it.
Revs fer Africa, and prolly 50% more HP.
I had a road legal DRZ400, and it was a hoot around town. With the road gearing on they'll do 160km/h.

Im not sure bout that, but i have herd that these are popular in england because they dont have cc restrictions they go by power, and these just make the cut, so you dont have to get it restricted. But than again as far as im aware they were originaly made just for Japs... dun quate me on that tho
