Honestly - for occasional use, unless cordless is a must, I'd rather have a corded drill for the same kind of money.
It'll end up cheaper in the long run.
Speaking of "the long run"...
My father handed over his corded electric drill to me some years ago and it has done well. Battered and bruised it may be, but functions well.
