Hey guys, I joined this site a while ago but haven't really been too active. Thought it was time to introduce myself.
My name is David, I just turned 21 on Friday and I'm from Tokoroa. I ride a Keeway Cruiser 2010 250cc I'm on my Learner's licence hoping to upgrade to my Restricted once I can afford it.
I've always been into bikes and always had the attitude like "ONE DAY, I'll have a motorbike" but never thought I'd have one so young. A mate of mine bought a 1980 Honda CG110, (at the time) the awesomest bike I'd ever seen, so I started saving up for a small bike. My mate bought a Hyosung 250cc and was looking to sell his CG, so I bought it, but never rode it because I couldn't get it to start *whistles*
I almost immediately wanted to upgrade and saw the sexiest bike (250 or less) I'd ever seen, the Keeway Cruiser, unfortunately I had just spent all of my savings on a crappy CG110 so was short $5000 for the Keeway...
One day, I got home from work, my wife sat down next to me and said "Guess what, you're going to be a dad..." my immediate reaction was "I'm buying that bike NOW or I'll never get it" followed by "Wait... What?... A dad?!?" follwed by the mix of the usual cocktail of emotions: Happiness, Fear, Anxiety, ETC.
So I bought the bike and then my best mate sold his so now I don't have anyone to ride with...
Thanks for reading,
