I took my new PR3 rear for a ride the other weekend, wasn't sure if it was just that the old tyre was shagged or the new one was good, but it was loverly. Mrs on the back even commented what a nice ride it was compared to the last time we were out.

Price wise not much different to the 2 I think?
Riding cheap crappy old bikes badly since 1987

I got mine for under 7 fitted so not so bad....mind you it took abit of getting these tyres as we had too wait for the 190/50/17 to actually arrive in the country....so I was glad when it did so I wasn't seen with the bridgestone on the rear that they loaned me

Will wait until I hear how they last on a Connie - got burnt with Angels so not gonna be the first to try this time...

Current PR2's have 10k on them. The last couple of sets got 12k but these are still looking really good so I may even get a bit more. So far this is the tyre for the Connie but secretly hoping that the PR3's may be another step up...

Running PR2's presently and I've been very happy - 12,000 on them so far - rear is getting down but it appears to have stopped wearing! I have no idea how much more I'll get out of it and I ere on the side of caution with tyres.

I'm trying the Conti Road Attack 2's as a set next. Just for a change.

And I was severely pissed off at the pricing of PR3's last week so they can stick it.

No good? Looked like a reasonably priced option, apart from the gay marketing.

A quick scan of the Concours forum and the yanks seem to be loving them - handling wise. No real talk of mileage yet although one post suggested 7,800 miles (but not 100% sure if that was his PR3's or the previous tyres he had). That sort of mileage seems pretty good to me although the yanks seem to claim higher mileages out of PR2's than either myself or Meanie have been able to get (we get very similar).

One guy even claims he dragged a peg in the wet - but then they do have this funny habit of lowering their pegs...

I just got 11 out of my PP2/PR2 combo.....One thing I did notice today is how easy it was to get over too the edge on a scrub-in run and how smooth the were going into corners some of the 45 posted corners were do-a-ble at 100

I will get the other verdict this weekend when she is pillon, but seriously they felt alot smoother that the PR2's ever did
