They have two wires coming out of them which is what I'd expect, the wiring diagram for the bike shows two as well, however when I look at the existing turn signals on the bike they only have one wire. Does this mean I just have to earth a wire from the indicator?
Cheak your loom you may have extra earth plugs that you can plug straight into otherwise wire too frame

Thanks. Not quite up to the Cylonbros standard though. I'll comfort myself with the the idea that I'm a project virgin I am enjoying it though.

    Success

Hooked up the new indicators to see if they work and ofcourse, they light up but no blink! Then think, bugger it, will put it all together anyway and worry about it later. Put it all together and decide to test them again and all of a sudden, they work go figure, must have just been a bad earth or something.

A weekend of ups and downs

One of those weekends when nothing seemed to go quite right. Got the new indicators / tail light hooked up and working fine but then all electrics failed, probably blew a fuse I guess. Got the header pipes all cleaned up and installed and then looked on the bench and realised I hadn't put the new gasket / seal rings in. Moving the bike around and looked at the front forks and see oil on them so guess the seals must have perished while I had them off the bike. Looks like next weekend will be spent fixing up the things I screwed up this weekend! Tail light looks good tho'
