Thumbs up Still some honest folks out there.

Yep as post says there seems to be honest folks still.
My car got backed into while parked and unoccupied, the guy stayed around till Janine came out, asked her if it was her car and explained he had reversed into the back door, but rather than leave a note he opted to stay.He admitted liability our insurance was wrapt and so was I.

Great to see people still believe in accepting responsibility and he waited to find out details, rang his and our insurance companies.Much better than a note on windscreen as he was from a town 200km away etc.

He did good, but shouldn't have admitted "responsibility". Some insurance companies get anti about that. Just accurately report what happened to the companies, and let them sort it out.

Being honest doesn't change the fact that he can't drive for shit. Next he might pull out in front of a motorcyclist....

For sure, but he did think he had missed the car while reversing, just caught the blind spot in his ute he said.He may not claim insurance as it will be on his company vehicle insurance and he is a director I believe.

Part of honesty, for me anyway, is acknowledging the fact that if you drive into a stationary car, how the hell can you NOT be responsible?
