    Had to laugh...

Watched TV3 news last night, had a short piece on the Yank Muscle Car show on over the weekend.
Told us about Murph's new project car , a rather tasty Dodge Charger.
What made me laugh is how they said it is a replica of "Eleanor" off the movie "Gone in 60 secs"....
errr,...ain't that a Ford Shelby Mustang in the movie?
    Ah they thick?

Me too . 'Eleanor' is a '67 fastback gt500. Not a Dogde at all. There is a Dodge in the first Fast and Furious though......

What a pair of retards. Go watch it "on demand"

The story stated "Murph commisioned so-and-so to build it after seeing a replica he'd built of Eleanor from Gone in 60."

Having seen the replica, i'm inclined to agree.

Looked evil in bare metal - I'd be tempted to shoot a coat or two of satin clear over it and leave it as it was.

I am sure it had different wheels on each side too.

One trend I'm not keen on on old school builds is putting the modern wheels with low profile tyres. I'm a bit old school and like more rubber and deep dish wheels on the older rides.
