    2001 Yamaha R1

Price should be $8300, and I will cover freight anywhere in NZ.

    2001 Yamaha R1, last of the carb'd R1's.
Very tidy condition, has been well looked after and serviced while I have owned it.
tyres (Michelin Pilot Road 2's) only have a couple thousand K's on them.
    brake pads replaced recently.
oil and filter done 2500kms ago.
Has had a full exhaust system put on it by a previous owner, and it sounds fantastic.
Has a pack rack if you want it.
for the right price, the stands will go with it.

Its in very good condition, and has treated me very well. I have done non-stop trips the length of the south island several times now, it makes an exceptional touring bike alone, or two up, and is right at home on the track.

The 2001 R1 was well known for making power early, and clutchless wheelies can be performed with ease as low as 40km/hr, if thats your sort of thing.

I had planned to keep this and get another bike as well however recent work-related changes means I must now sell this to get the next one. thus my loss is your gain.

I am open to reasonable cash offers, and am happy to organise transport from my end.

chuck your kitten in and you have yourself a deal

was a timewaster sadly. took a few more pics today that show how beautifully tidy she is, which I will add later on. every time I clean it Im reminded how surprisingly tidy she is, she really deserves someone who will clean her more often than I do!
