    Stupid noob (Furyos J)

Hi all, im a noob here, but not new to forums or bikes. Im mostly a car guy, me and my partner have a 67 Plymouth Fury that we have done huge amounts of resto work on. I hang out on the "new zealand mopar registry forum" and other chrysler fan forums.
I have also been into bikes since i was 15, having a few road and off road bikes over the years, including, GN250, RGV250r sligshot, VFR400r, XR250

I use a 2005 GSX250 to commute to work here in wellington, altho its a long story how i ended up with this bike (trust me, i dont like the gsx250), and i am trying to sell it at the mo on trade me. Once it is sold, i would very much like to get a
CBR600f4 , zx6r or similar, ie an all rounder that is sporty, yet still has a real pillion seat to ride 2up. I would also look at a VTR 1000 firestorm.

Me and my partner also ride off road, i ride a 2000 CR250 (go the two tanga) and she rides a TRX400ex quad.

Anyway, we are wanting to get more involved in the bike scene, and fight the unfair amount of levies that seem to keep being piled upon bikers that dont deserve the bad rep the goverment is trying to paint on us. It is almost like the goverment and media try to paint bikers as high risk hoons, that are going to suck the tax payer dry with all the accidents we cause
Less taxes on bikes, more education for bad car drivers!

    and ?.....
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

ok then, i can post pics of fury. She is a 67 4 door hardtop(pillarless) it is a canadian assembled right hand drive export model, brought in wellington brand new in 67, not many of these around here. Was very rusty, only mint panel was the roof, have done all the body work myself, including hand making the rear quaters from halfway down on both sides inner and outer, a half door skin, and small to large patch panels in every other panel, whole car rust treated and epoxy primed prior to the "smokey granite" paint. My partner rach was a huge help as well. It has heaps of modifications, including rear 4 link with airbags, custom front torsion bars, sway bars, disk brakes, full retro leather interior, full kicker sound system.stout small block mill, trans and lsd diff. We have had fury 7 or so years, most of that time it has been in flat black paint job. Anyway, i have 100's of build pics, but here are a couple as she is at the moment

You've done a real nice job there! Myself, I don't like the mod wheels and lowered too far look but then I'm a bit of an old fart. As long as you keep the body original, it will always be worth $$$!

    Well done!
