Hell yes!! Even Crissy-Bimbos jacket has them!
Missed out on the leather chaps at Porirua Cash Convertors, hummed and haa'd at the price and when I got back they were gone! Some other discerning gentleman must have snapped them up.

lol yeah it's spelt that on purpose

Nothing has re-sale value anymore The way I see it... biking is my passion... if I'm going to buy a bike and worry about the "re-sale" price... then I'm obviously planning on selling it at a later date... if I plan to sell it then there means there is something wrong with it (not mechanically... just things like... too small... not the model I want e.t.c) to cause me to want to sell it... if thats the case then I might as well not buy it... and if I do buy it... then theres nothign stopping me making it into my dream bike... And no a 250 is not my dream bike... but for another 18 months it is...

*confuses myself sometimes... but it's ok I'm on my own planet and they know me here *

My interest being purely professional, from a marketing perspective, like.

Do you just wear the chaps? On their own? Sans jeans?.

Cool! Double Yay 4 U. I've ordered a LOOBMAN for mine. Had a scottoiler on my VFR750FL and that was great but they are $239.00 and the loobman about $48ish. Only difference is that the loobman is manual (ya have to give it a squeeze before you ride) Think I can live with that.

Still waiting on a price for my 23litre Acerbis tank...... Then I should be able to go 350+ kms per tank...... Probably take about 3 months to get here tho

Should i get heated grips??? It's a bit cold at 5:30 am on the way to work. I reckon heated gloves witha small nuclear reactor in each would be the go, wouldn't want to crash in them tho

Just a word on placidfemme's "blinging her ride" - the blue light under the bike actually looks kinda kewl, and impressed my son when he saw it last night.

Now I've just got to keep him away from the VifFerraRi, before it ends up with blue neons in the fairing vents...
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

lol yeah you'll come home and your bike will be in bits with the wiring everywhere... *can see it now* "But dad... I was just trying to...." And as much as he tries to justify it... you'll know its revenge for removing his fuses in the car lol

I only have one 20cm tube with 4 blue LED's in it under the seat, it's not very noticeable which is good as it shouldn't attract too much unwanted attention... I considered putting in a second tube to make the glow brighter but couldn't be bothered... now I'm used to it

XTC: Vifferman has grip warmers on his bike, so if you need any information I'm sure he'd be able to help you out on how good they are

I thought about installing a warmer thingymabob on my bike... but the only time it's really cold is in the mornings... and on a bad day it still only takes me 15 minutes to get to work... so I couldn't really justify it Although I do try... hehe
