Where to buy clear line hose for bleeding brakes?

I want some of that clear plastic tubing/hosing, a bit like fuel line, for bleeding my brakes without making a mess. Something around 6mm to 8mm in diameter.

I assumed this would be easy to get hold of. Went to Cycletreads, and they did have some in a $25 pack. Will get that if I have to, but I thought $25 for a short bit of plastic tubing was a bit much.

Went to Repco. Nope, don't stock it.

Went to look up Payless Plastics, but their website was been replaced by a stock liquidator company, so I suspect their business is gone or changed a lot.

Might try Supercheap Auto next.

So where is a good place to buy some of this stuff on the North Shore of Auckland?

you can get those stuff at any Petshop, you can buy it per/meter....

Dude go to the Vet get a Syringe and the line that will come with it (its a big one i.e Horse thing) I used these for racing and its mint as with a bit of suction pressure on it and it stores it so you can squirt it into another vessel or your competitors eyes etc.

need to use, at a min a cable tie, or better a small screw hose clamp to attach it to the bleeder so it doesn't pop off when pushing fluid up it's jacksy with a syringe.

Then cut it back as it will get a cut line in it.

Aww careful mate, we're talking about brakes here. What if you needed to stop suddenly while you were bleeding your brakes & this non certified piping failed? Then where would you be? Huh? Huh?

Go work on a sheep farm

get a steady supply of that stuff with all the vaccination packs.
