That's disappointing...o well, it'd be good if you can get something uploaded, even if it's a glimpse of Loosebruce disappearing into the distance on one wheel!!

Btw Paco, you should start a thread here on KB and advertise your splendid R1! Someone would get a great bike for the price you are asking! Then you could go out and buy this:

Just recap... Is Loosebruce the guy on the TL with eyes on the butt of his leathers...?
Kopu-Hikuai, 1 wheel, r/h side of the road... did bit of an unhealthy wobble in front of an on-coming truck.
I'd rather not see that too often

Hmm i dont recall any unhealthy wobbles on the Gixxer, should've seen me on the TL, the gixer shakes a bit when putting down if slightly crossed up but nothing that had me thinking not normal and if i am on the RH side it's because i'd rather not pass you or any other rider with my front wheel less then a metre away from your head, i always give space between, and if there are any on coming veichles i WILL ALWAYS make sure i have enough room to put down and pull back in safely, i know my limits and my ability and ride accordingly, and if or when i do try and push the limit i do my best to make sure it's only me who's going to suffer when shit goes wrong. The last thing i ever want to do or have to live with is taking another rider out or hitting another veichle and hurting an innocent road user.
So I am very sorry if you frown upon my riding, as always i do not mean to offend in anyway and i always try to keep it safe for others (and me), i'm not and have no plan on being a dangerous rider and anyone who rides or has riden with me knows this.

On a side note though WARR you should get ol Frosty out on his XJ and teach him a lesson i was most taken with your pace on the XJ, top effort, hope to see you out on more rides soon.

Maybe if you ask nicely William might let you "borrow" the R1 for a ride. He must be stoked with that bike though, it's bloody nice eh for a yamaha that is, hope to see him out on more rides.

Thanks there for the words of explanation. I'm not finger pointing by any means, and am happy to believe you know what you are doing
Was my first ride with you guys and I'm still stoked about it today. I make no claims about my skills or lack so thanks for your comments.
I've never considered before doing track time, but after mixing it with you guys.. mm well will have to see.
I looked at the smooth lines Quazi was taking and felt a bit envious. Mostly tho I was envious of the grunt that new bikes have away from corners.. There was no hope of passing anyone there. So not holding back I passed who I could on bits that wern't so straight.
Great ride MR and the rest of you KB'ers.

Two weeks wait, not too bad mate, see ya out there soon. Leathers are good alright, i've been down the road a few times to know there are worth more than what you pay for them.

WARR the track is awesome fun, FROSTY is running a track day in december, all types of riders catered for is a great day and a good way to improve in a controlled enviroment, meet new faces, get tips and help. If ya can't wait till December trackdays at Taupo and manfeild pop up quite regularly and most of the time more than a few KBer's will be heading to them. And to say riding with a group can also do wonders for your riding as you were saying watching Quasi and his lines, alot of people learn a fair bit this way.
