Nothing to learn really.... he pulls next to you then just opens up the throttle and walla front tyre conservation begines..... the rest of us have to clutch it up...... lend me your wheels and i'll show you how

P.s. maybe you should try with the fairings off

It was a pleasure to be out there again with you Bruce and with the rest of you all. We had a blast & yet again it was a clear reminder of why I have come back.

Cheers to all & especially MR for organising it.

Nothing to it huh, well hows about you give me your bike and i'll show you how to wheelie it without the clutch and with the fucked rear shock or whatever other excuse you can up with as to why it's so hard to wheelie.

Never said it was hard. Did a few ok ones (40 deg+)on that ride on sunday.... but i'll lend you my machine if you lend me yours

p.s. how do you do it without a clutch.I have tried the "bouncing method" and it didn't work to well and forget just under power cause wacking it open in first just gets about 2cm if that........

Oh and with clutching it up i can't find a balance point (yes i am a wuss) so i tend to hold it up with the revs.... and then run out of them. Maybe the new stiffer shock will help with stabilising. Tried a stand up once and then bike just started wobbling all over the place and didn't come down too gently

Hey aff-man, when you said before that there's "nothing to learn really" about Loosebruces wheelies, you were joking right? Course you were, otherwise you'd be saying *anyone* could mono a Gixxer Thou??

AHHHHHHHHHHHH once again the lack of sacasm over posting presides. When i meant nothing to learn i was kinda hinting at the fact that with the gixxer thou you can open the throttle and she comes up.To make it smooth and get a balance point etc etc all takes (especially that beast) large amounts of skill.

I think i am going to take my sarcastic mood and go hide in a hole this is the second thread where i am being ripped into.

Hi Kitty, how long have you been riding motorcycles for? That is one huge upgrade! Did you ride the nifty throughout your learners licence period?

We'll see, can't be too sure at this stage...sounds like you're a sure starter!

Hey aff, what you need to do is take the new K5 1000 for a test ride and give us a review on its power to weight ratio. Does Colemans have a demo? Would you even dare?

Yip i would dare, i'd be a nana but i would dare. It would be kinda wierd though me and the bike would weigh just about the same as your bike alone . Really wanna get a gixxer600 or something similar saw a mint k2 1000 for $11k but that'll have to wait till i am out of uni aye......

Apparently the weather is meant to be a stinker but if not i might think about doing the coro loop or go up north somewhere
