    Nice article.

Amazing though Stoner is Pedro's been riding that Honda for a long time so if there's setup problems you've got to think he's at an advantage.

Can't remember where I heard it but some commentator was talking about Lorenzo last year when Rossi was out injured beginning to get frustrated with the M1 but as soon as Rossi came back and was quick he just had to STFU and ride. It seems like the same deal with Stoner and Pedrosa... one of them's always on to it so the other just has to knuckle down and go.

    Respect for Pedrosa.
    1. He is still recovering from serious injury
    2. He is not a whinger and moaner. I am not sure but I don't think once he has complained about dangerous riding by other riders or accused others of following him etc etc
"...New Zealanders, for all their faults, have virtues that are precious: an unwillingness to be intimidated by the new, the formidable, or class systems; trust in situations where there would otherwise be none; compassion for the underdog; a sense of responsibility for people in difficulty; not undertaking to do something without seeing it through - "

But he's often taken himself out while leading, taken out his team mate, probably had complaints against him, and until he crosses the line, I wouldn't put any money on him. He's also had a lot of pressure put on him, where they've expected him to do better than he did (i.e. take out the championship).

In saying that, I do like him and hope he goes really well this year. Then again, I was pleased when Stoner won his first race (but changed my tune quickly afterwards lol).

I think it's on the Faster DVD where someone comments that racers are rarely at 100% fitness due to injury, and that is becoming more the case at the moment (there are times when it seems a total exaggeration as no one's really riding injured).

Ah well, so long as Stoner or Jorge doesn't win the championship this year, I'll be happy.

Smart money says one of them will. As blindingly fast as Pedrosa is, he's not often enough to win it. I'd be more than happy to be proven wrong though. Several different champs in several years makes it great!
