    Not new to bikes (4AGE)

    Hey guys,

Been around bikes since a kid as dad has always had them and currently races a TZ350. He has had this for over a decade so i have numerous memories of late nights working on it, and push starting it in the pits at Taupo.

When i turned 16 i tossed up between getting a bike or a car. I opted for a car.
When i went to Uni dad had the unfortunate task of looking after the car as i had nowhere to park it. So it took up his garage. I don't think he was too impressed.

But here we are 3.5 half years later. I sold my car. A few weeks after getting my learners and just bought a MC19.

Dad's not overly happy with my purchase, but yeah.
I'm currently studying at Victoria university so having a bike will be great for getting in and out of the city.

Just looking into some after market levers as the mrs want to learn to ride and can't quite reach the levers safely.

    Thats all for now,
    Sean.

Welcome to the site man. What was the car? Just gonna assume it was something 1600cc haha.

Bikes are way better regardless, good choice of first bike too. I took one of those from chch to whakatane and back a while ago, and it was some of the best motorcycling fun I've ever had.

He wasn't that keen on me getting a sports bike haha. But he knew it was ultimately my decision.

He was kinda thinking bandit, vtr etc. More upright riding position, less fairings to smash when i drop it. I was looking at bandits etc, then i saw this and i knew i had to get this.

I don't think he will let me ride his TZ just yet though.

Contact bike busters about that missing panel man, they might be able to help you out
I had a good trawl of TM and couldnt find anyone wrecking a MC19, otherwise trawl ebay.

If you have any queries about the bike just PM me

Yeah i got that air duct sorted through them. Got it in the mail today.

They gave me both sides so i have the r/h side (brake lever side) air duct spare if someone needs it.

How many kms should i expect on a tank around town? Damn honda for not putting a fuel gauge, or atleast a low fuel light on the bike.

Yeah i figured i would just go off the trip meter. I reset it when i filled up.

Its just at the moment when i have a look in the tank i have no idea if what i'm seeing is half way or practically empty. I guess i need to see it almost empty to get my eye for it.
