Actrix Winter Series 2011 Round 1

You have until 6 May (5 days as of today!) to get your entries in! Don't just rely on snail mail - send us an email at entry@vicclub.co.nz if your entry is in the post. If it's not download the form from our website www.vicclub.co.nz and get it to us by fax or email.

After Friday you will miss out on being in the programme nor on the website (letting down your sponsors) and may have to pay the late fee just to rub salt in the wound.

Pull your finger out and get the entries in.

I don't want a last minute rush and we won't hold up briefing and racing for you to do it on the day! Briefing at 8.30am - Track will open at 9am

    Race Fuel

I was just reading the entry form and saw this:
"Mobil Race Fuel is available at Mobil Manfeild"

What exactly is this '"race" fuel, does anyone know?

    thanks

I'm not sure but I think the Mobil service station sell 100 octane

I think that'll be 100MON (Motor Octane Number), which is slightly different to RON(Research Octane Number). No accurate conversion exists because they use different testing methids but genarally a fuel with a certain MON rating will have a higher rating in a RON test which is what we generally refer to with our domestic automotive fuels.

Bottom line: aviation fuel is 100MON and approx 105RON....but am happy to be corrected, my missus has given me plenty of corrective training
