    Can't remember if it was still called the Heatway, but I remember taking the day off school to watch the Mercedes team (and others)when they came out and ran some stages near home

    Top Gear over the weekend had a BDA Escort vs new Focus. The Focus was faster, but the Escort was WAY cooler

    Amazing that the Evo smoked the Audi.

    Mate of mine back in mid 80s

    Bought a v8 left hand drive mk1 escort,was an awesome rally car but sounded nothing near as cool as a 4cylinder when on the gravel.
