It might be an idea to make the rider stop and go in that run-off (like the TT pit entrance) That would ensure no advantage.

I reckon Monza should do away with all the chicanes and just let everyone go for it!

As well as bringing back the old banking
"If you can make black marks on a straight from the time you turn out of a corner until the braking point of the next turn, then you have enough power."

He did and in race 1 had a drive thru imposed on him
"...New Zealanders, for all their faults, have virtues that are precious: an unwillingness to be intimidated by the new, the formidable, or class systems; trust in situations where there would otherwise be none; compassion for the underdog; a sense of responsibility for people in difficulty; not undertaking to do something without seeing it through - "

Haga was given a ride thru penalty for the following:

" Any rider going straight on three times during the race would be penalized with a ride-through penalty, a punishment applied to Noriyuki Haga during race one."

Those Vids are most enlightening. I had thought the prick was a bit hard done by until I watched that.

I had until then thought he had been judged to have gained from the maneuver. As the commentators said - because he was in front, it was difficult to measure. Not so.

The run off works well, eh. Lot less messy than kitty litter too.................
