Well, the workplace meeting turned into a shit flinging contest. So afterwards I went and told the boss what happened and that I'll deal with it. Then I went up to her and said if she has a problem with me, come tell me to my face. Then she proceeded to defend what she said and tried to put a different spin on the way she said it. End of story, she ended up looking very stupid.

Not quite that easy... I am a tech, you spend all day pretty much fighting fires from clients, suppliers etc, and then you have more shit to deal with internally? There comes a point when you've had enough, and don't care who cries first, just as long as you get someone balling their eyes out....

Be aware that this is only round one, she will be plotting revenge for being made to look a fool. . As she has direct contact with management & clients she may well indulge in a bit of enuendo , especially if she thinks you won't be able to prove it.

From my experience I think if you work on changing what is causing you to attract things like this into your experience, then those things go away.So if you change your vibration,energy,aura,mindset, whatever you want to call it that person will probably find a new job,or move citys,towns or whatever. My advice is to not under any circumstances engage in a negative way with that person. If you want to engage with her do not discuss these issues but something positive instead. If you can find something positive about her it would be good if you somehow communicate that to her.

Any problems between you and whoever is paying your salary are between you and whoever is paying your salary. NOT the receptionist. Therefore, deal with the people who pay you, not the receptionist.

Yep, cover all bases; we're dealing with a nightmare customer right now who has zero qualms about lying and/or just making shit up. Put everything in writing, etc.
