Yep. Just like wire wheel Katana's in the day. We did it properly by the then ACU's rules, and built 10 of them. But you'd be fucking hard pressed to find a 'stock' NSR, RGV or TZR amongst the front runners there either mate! When you're riding a fast bike (and make no mistake, the KR1SP's we made were fucking fast 250's), you soon know who's cheating and who isn't!

It was fun being involved in road racing in those times! At the Auckland Street race circa 87/88? There were nearly 80 entrants in F2. We were split into two groups of 40. Unreal.
